Add a sending domain
Until you set up your own sending domains, SmartMailing sends your email from [email protected]. That works for testing, but real campaigns should come from your own domain: it looks right to your subscribers and it builds a reputation you own. You manage this in Domains โ Sending Domains in the top navigation.
Domain warm-up
A brand-new sending subdomain has no reputation with mailbox providers. If it suddenly sends thousands of emails on day one, Gmail, Outlook, and the rest read that as spammer behavior: mail gets throttled or lands in the spam folder. Warm-up prevents this by capping how much you can send per day and raising that cap on a schedule, so providers see a natural, steadily growing sender.
DMARC monitoring
DMARC monitoring shows you who is sending email claiming to be from your domain, how much of it authenticates correctly, and whether it is safe to tighten your DMARC policy. Unauthenticated mail gets junked by mailbox providers, so authentication is one of the biggest levers on inbox placement. You find it under Domains โ DMARC in the top navigation.
Sender health and reputation
Your sender reputation decides whether your email reaches the inbox at all. SmartMailing gives you a live read on it and, when something goes wrong, steps in automatically to protect your domain. The overview lives on the Reports page, on the Overview tab.
