Manage your subscribers
Every brand has its own subscriber base. Open Subscribers from the dashboard to see everyone who can receive email from that brand, plus the suppression list of addresses that must never be emailed. Use the brand picker in the header to switch between brands.
Add a subscriber manually
Use Add subscriber on the Subscribers page to add a single address to a brand. SmartMailing gives you two GDPR-aware ways to do it: send a double opt-in confirmation email, or attest that you already have consent.
Import subscribers
There are two ways to bring an existing audience into SmartMailing: upload a CSV export, or connect Mailchimp, MailerLite, or Brevo and pull subscribers in directly. Both run through the same import pipeline, so verification, suppression checks, and consent records work identically.
Organize subscribers with lists
Lists let you segment a brand's subscribers into groups you can target when sending campaigns, for example "Newsletter readers" or "Beta customers". A subscriber can be on any number of lists, and lists never affect consent: membership only controls targeting.
Subscriber details, suppression, and GDPR delete
Click any subscriber on the Subscribers page to open their detail page. It shows everything SmartMailing knows about that person and is where you handle suppression and right-to-be-forgotten requests for a single address.
