Edit a template in the builder

Once a draft is generated, the builder is where you refine it. The screen has three areas: a left panel with components, brand colors and the AI assistant; the live preview in the center; and, when you select a block, an edit panel on the right.

Everything saves automatically. The top bar shows a saving indicator and a "Saved a few seconds ago" note next to your project name, so there is no save button to remember.

Add components

The Components panel lists the building blocks: Headline, Text, Image, Button, Two Columns, Three Columns, Steps, Spacer, Divider and Promotion.

  1. Click a block category.
  2. In the Select type dialog, pick a variation, for example Headline H1, a full-width image, or a left-aligned button.

Layout-only blocks such as images, spacers and dividers are added instantly. Content blocks are added with AI-drafted text that fits your email, ready for you to edit.

Edit a block

Click any block directly in the preview to open its edit panel. Depending on the block you can:

  • Edit text with formatting: bold, italic, underline and links
  • Click Insert field to add personalization such as First name, Full name, Email or Brand name, plus any custom fields your brand defines. Fields are filled in per subscriber at send time.
  • Swap images from your media gallery or upload new ones
  • Reorder the block with Move Up and Move Down
  • Remove it with Delete Component (you are asked to confirm)

The logo, the "view in browser" line and the footer are editable the same way: click them in the preview.

Use the undo and redo buttons in the toolbar (or Cmd+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z) to step through your changes.

Styling: colors, fonts and corners

The Brand Colors column lets you change the global background, inner background and text colors, button colors, footer text and divider color. Changes apply to the whole email immediately.

Click Template Settings in the top bar for more:

  • Brand Colors: the same palette controls in a larger view
  • Typography: the font family and separate size sliders for body text and headlines H1 to H3
  • Rounded Corners: enable rounded corners on images and buttons and set the radius. Note the built-in warning: rounded corners are not supported in Outlook on Windows.

The AI assistant

The AI Assistant chat sits at the bottom of the left panel. Type a request in Ask AI... and press Enter: ask it to rewrite a section, change the tone, add a component, or restructure part of the email. The preview shows "AI is working..." while it applies changes.

Prefer talking? Click the microphone to dictate your request; recordings run up to 30 seconds and are transcribed into the chat automatically.

Click Media Gallery in the top bar to manage images. You can:

  • Upload Images: select files or drag and drop
  • Edit: crop, zoom and rotate an image; edited images get an "Edited" badge
  • Restore: revert an edited image to the original everywhere it is used
  • Copy: copy the image URL

Images extracted from your website or brand profile appear here too, so you can reuse them in any image block.

Check your work

Above the preview, the device toggle switches between desktop and mobile rendering, and the spam score badge analyzes your copy for words that commonly trigger spam filters. When the draft looks right, move on to translating, testing and exporting.
