Send your first campaign
A campaign sends one of your templates to your subscribers. Campaigns live at /campaigns and are scoped to a brand.
Create the campaign
- Go to Campaigns (or click Create campaign on the dashboard's Step 3 · Campaign card).
- Pick a brand in the brand picker. Campaigns always belong to a brand.
- Click New campaign. A draft called "Untitled campaign" opens in the composer.
- Click the title at the top to rename it. The name is internal; recipients never see it.
Fill in the composer
The composer saves as you go, so you can leave and come back to a draft any time.
Subject and preview
Enter your Subject and, optionally, a Preheader. The preheader is the preview text some inboxes show after the subject line.
Template
Pick one of the brand's saved email designs. A live preview appears under the grid. If the section says there are no saved templates for this brand yet, create one in the email builder first, then come back.
Audience
Choose who receives the campaign:
- All subscribers: everyone subscribed to this brand.
- Specific lists: tick one or more of the brand's subscriber lists. If you have no lists yet, create them on the Subscribers page.
Send mode
- Send all at once: the default. Ships to every recipient immediately when you hit send.
- Schedule for later: pick a future date and time in the Send at field (your local time). The campaign queues as scheduled and ships when the moment arrives.
- Predictive send time: each recipient gets the email at their predicted optimal hour over the next 24 hours, based on their past open history. Recipients with no history fall back to the brand average.
You can also switch on the A/B test section to test subject lines or whole templates on a portion of your audience and auto-send the winner to the rest. It is optional and safe to skip for your first campaign.
Test it, then send it
Before the real send, put your own address in the Send a preview to field and click Test send to check the email in a real inbox.
When everything looks right, click Send campaign (or Schedule campaign for a scheduled send) and confirm in the dialog. If the button is disabled, a hint next to it tells you what is missing. A campaign needs:
- A subject line
- A selected template
- An audience (all subscribers, or at least one list)
- For scheduled sends, a time in the future
New brands go through a one-time review before their first live send. While your brand is awaiting approval you can build, preview, and test-send, but the Send campaign button stays locked. Click Request approval in the banner and you will get an email once the review is done.
Track the results
After sending, the campaign page switches to a report with recipients, opens, and clicks, and the campaign list shows each campaign's status (Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Paused, Cancelled, or Failed) along with sent counts, open rate, and click rate.
That is the whole loop: brand, template, campaign. From here, explore subscribers and lists, automations, and the deliverability reports to grow your sending.
