Campaign performance

The Campaigns tab compares every campaign that sent in the selected window, so you can see what worked instead of judging each send in isolation. It includes campaigns that finished sending, are currently sending, or were paused mid-send.

Across all campaigns

The top section aggregates the window:

  • Emails sent (and delivered)
  • Avg open rate
  • Avg click rate
  • Avg bounce rate
  • Avg complaint rate

These averages are volume-weighted: counts are summed first and rates computed from the totals, so a 10,000 recipient campaign is not averaged equally with a 30 recipient test.

Below the cards, two highlight tiles call out your Best opener and Lowest opener by open rate. Only campaigns with a meaningful delivered volume qualify, so a tiny test send cannot win. Click either tile to open that campaign's full report.

Open and click rate by send

When you have more than one campaign in the window, a trend chart plots the open and click rate of each send, oldest to newest. This is the quickest way to spot a drift: subject lines getting stale, a list getting tired, or a genuine improvement after a change.

Compare campaigns

The comparison table lists every campaign in the window with these columns: Campaign (name and send date), Recipients, Delivered, Open, Click, Bounce, and Complaint.

  • Click any column header to sort by it; click again to flip the direction.
  • Click a campaign row to open its full report.

Drill into a single campaign

Clicking a campaign anywhere in this tab takes you to that campaign's own page at /campaigns/{id}. For a sent campaign, that page is the full report:

  • Overview cards: recipients, sent, delivered, open rate, click rate, bounced, complaints, unsubscribed, and failed sends.
  • A/B test results, if the campaign ran a subject or template test, including the winning variant. See A/B test subjects and templates.
  • Top clicked links: which URLs got clicked, ranked by total clicks, with the number of unique recipients per link.
  • Recipients table: per-recipient delivery and engagement status, including the failure reason for any sends that failed.
  • Campaign details: subject, preheader, send mode, and start and finish times.
tip

Use the Campaigns tab for the "which send performed best" question and the single campaign report for the "what exactly happened in this send" question. They are built from the same numbers.
