The reports hub
Reports is where you see whether your email is actually working: not just opens and clicks, but whether you are reaching the inbox at all. Open it from the Reports link in the dashboard navigation, or go straight to /reports.
Most email platforms show you engagement numbers and hide the reputation data that decides your deliverability. SmartMailing takes the opposite approach: the same complaint, bounce, and authentication rates that gate your sending are shown to you directly, against the same safe limits the platform enforces. If something ever slows or pauses your sending, you can see exactly why.
Reports is available on the Starter plan and above.
Pick a brand and a time window
All reports are per brand. At the top of the page:
- Use the brand picker to choose which brand you want to analyze. If you have not created a brand yet, the page prompts you to create one first.
- Use the window selector to choose the reporting period: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days.
Every number on the page respects both choices. Switching either one reloads all tabs.
The three tabs
The hub is organized into three tabs:
- Overview is the deliverability and health dashboard. It leads with your composite sender health score, then covers headline performance rates, daily trends, your reputation timeline, email authentication, list health, and the best time to send. See Sender health score and Engagement and list health.
- Campaigns compares every campaign sent in the window side by side, with volume-weighted averages, best and lowest performers, and a sortable comparison table. See Campaign performance.
- Replies shows what happens when subscribers write back: how often the AI drafts a confident answer, how much you edit those drafts, and how fast replies get resolved. See Reply analytics.
Empty states are normal at first
Each tab needs data before it can show you anything:
- The Overview tab fills in once you have sent something in the selected window. Before that it invites you to create a campaign.
- The Campaigns tab lists only campaigns that started sending inside the window. Widen the window to 90 days if a recent campaign seems missing.
- The Replies tab stays empty until subscribers start replying to your emails.
If a report looks emptier than you expect, check the window selector first. A campaign sent five weeks ago will not appear in a 30 day window.
